My client, a large, international Law Firm, are looking for a Tax Assistant to join their Tax Function!
This is a London based opportunity, great for anyone early on in their Partnership Tax Career.
Key responsibilities/duties
- You will be assisting in the preparation of partners' UK tax returns;
- The ideal candidate should be familiar with producing a personal tax return, and ideally would have experience of preparing tax returns for self-employed partners;
- Ideally, you will have 3 years personal tax experience and would ATT qualified
- The candidate should be familiar with using commercial software to prepare tax returns.
- The candidate should have experience of extracting relevant tax information from HMRC Government Gateway (tax payments, liabilities, filing information etc);
- You will also assist the Head of Partnership Tax with a wide range of tasks, covering many different tax aspects, from VAT and corporation tax, employee tax issues and charitable giving, to group structuring and much more;
- You will also, alongside the Head of Partnership Tax, have a wide exposure to many different areas of the business, from interaction with fee earning teams to assisting with various different Business Support issues.
