Job Role: Field Engineer (VoIP) Salary: £25,000 - £34,000 DOE Location: Sheffield, Field based Contract: Full-time permanent, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a talented and motivated Field Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to visit client sites providing hands-on support. This role is ideal for an experienced Field Engineer seeking a new challenge, as well as for individuals new to the industry with knowledge of VoIP systems who are eager to develop their careers.
You will be field based so you are not required to attend the office daily, you will be visiting different sites so it could be suitable for someone living within the Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester areas.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission on-premises and cloud telephone systems.
- Provide end-user training on phone system operations.
- Assist the service desk with customer fault resolutions.
- Perform field installations of additional or upgraded equipment.
- Collaborate with other key departments on various projects as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 1-year experience in telephone system installation and maintenance
- Familiar with working with IP Networking, Switches, Routers and SIP Trunks
- Experience with VoIP systems
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi Technologies
- Must hold a UK driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the UK
- Ability to manage the onsite installation of telephone systems, both on-premises and cloud systems.
