A Personal Tax Senior vacancy has become available with this very successful Gateshead based accountancy firm who have enjoyed significant growth over the last few years, largely from a strong reputation and referrals.
Bringing to the position prior tax return experience your role will see you taking ownership of a client portfolio consisting for Directors, Sole Traders, HNWI and Partnerships.
You will be responsible for preparing and submitting personal tax returns, also partnership and trust tax returns if you have the knowledge, if not this can be trained.
Responding to personal tax queries, gathering documentation and drafting emails to provide advice to clients about tax legislation will all form part of your regular day to day work. In addition you will be in regular communication with HMRC on behalf of your clients.
There is scope to gain involvement in more planning work, however this is by no means required and is available only for those that might wish to gain wider experience.
We are looking for applicants to present with a minimum of 18 months tax compliance experience, preferably working through their ATT, qualified, or by experience.
You will join a small tax team all with your own portfolio of clients, yet supporting each other where technical or simple cover is needed. The firm have a friendly and sociable team who will welcome you to the group.
