Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their vibrant team. This role will be to provide support to various Solicitors by managing and organising case files, drafting legal documents and conducting legal research. This is a full time, office-based role and is positioned within a highly experienced litigation, dispute resolution and property team who pride themselves on providing specialist legal advice whilst striving to exceed clients' expectations.

Key duties for this role will include:

  • Assisting fee earners in preparing for trial and court proceedings
  • Assisting with all the post completion matters in both commercial and residential property
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
  • Dealing with requisitions raised by the Land Registry
  • Drafting legal documents using the full office suite
  • Conducting legal research to support legal proceedings
  • Managing and organising case files and legal documents
  • Dealing with pre-exchange of contract work and handling completions
  • Maintaining contact with clients and keeping informed of case process
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, courts and other 3rd parties
  • Managing departmental diaries and organising appointments

The ideal candidate for this role should be confident with working within a thriving dynamic, solutions-driven team. They will be an individual who wishes to make a successful career out of the paralegal role, whilst being keen to develop their skills and knowledge in a business law firm which very much champions internal progression.

To be successful in this role:

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
  • A professional telephone manner with the ability to engage and develop a rapport with clients
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Have excellent IT/typing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with case management systems

In return:

  • Salary up to £24,000
  • Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00, full time office based role
  • Based near train station on the outskirts of Liverpool
