You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:
- Previous experience as an IT Manager in a multi-site organisation, preferably global with manufacturing facilities.
- Experience in the ICT industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven team player with experience managing diverse teams under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Skill in managing and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience handling business-critical system outages.
- Proficiency in defining, implementing, and improving IT policies and processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and process improvement.
- Demonstrable technical leadership skills, including continuous improvement and solution design.
- Cisco CCNA/CCENT certification.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
In this role you will be working in and amongst the global IT team to oversee IT strategy implementation and operations, ensuring effective collaboration and compliance. You will also be responsible for:
- Collaborating to deliver secure and effective IT solutions.
- Ensuring high-quality systems in a regulated environment.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Overseeing IT operations and growth globally.
- Leading and implementing the Global IT strategy.
- Managing a centralised IT support team.
- Supervising project implementation and team performance.
- Overseeing IT budgets and expenditures.
- Fostering innovation and providing technical guidance.
- Ensuring employee training on IT systems.
- Managing supplier relationships.
- Reporting on IT effectiveness and compliance.
- Promoting workplace satisfaction and open communication.
- Leading change management and participating in audits.
- Establishing consistent IT processes aligned with security standards.
