Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Location: Wellington, Somerset

Salary: Circa £24,000 PA

The role: You will work in an administrative team of 3 and work closely together to support with a wide range of administrative tasks for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing trade orders for despatch, including export documentation.
  • Receiving and processing of internet orders.
  • Calling local customers weekly to arrange deliveries and up-selling on products.
  • Processing sales invoices.
  • Dealing with telephone calls and general email enquiries.
  • Managing petty cash payments and records.
  • Preparation of Excel spreadsheets as required to support the admin function and other departments.
  • Filing purchase invoices.
  • Debt collection.
  • Filing purchase invoices.
  • Supporting the sales and events teams as required.
  • Filing, archiving and general office upkeep.
  • Other general office and administrative duties in support of the team.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge:

  • Prior administrative experience with a high level of accuracy, competency and confidentiality.
  • Working in a small team of 3 you will be able to work successfully in a team environment and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • A willing and supportive working attitude - they are all one team so sometimes you will undertake tasks outside of your job description, for example, making up boxes to pack orders. This might be rare, but represents how they operate as a team to ensure their customers / expectations are exceeded.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
