Our client based in Letchworth are looking for a self motivated and hardworking person to fill the role of Business Development Manager in their Tech & Media department. This role will mean joining a talented group of individuals, in a growing department.

Responsibilities

  • You will devise and implement a tactical plan to generate leads and win new Tech & Media clients, ensuring they align with their ideal client profile
  • You will manage the entire lead conversion process including leading meetings with prospective clients, creating fee proposals and transitioning the new client to the onboarding team
  • You will seek new opportunities and enhance existing marketing channels (websites, introducers, events) for lead generation
  • You will leverage existing client relationships and external networks to increase referrals and drive growth, as well as build your own network
  • You will improve our market position by enhancing our online presence and brand awareness, collaborating with the Marketing teams at different site offices
  • You will attend industry specific events, such as Founders Live, networking, presenting or hosting where possible
  • You will clearly communicate what distinguishes the company from its competitors
  • You will develop expertise and understanding of the Tech & Media market and proactively share this knowledge internally
  • You will support the onboarding process for new clients

Requirements

  • Have experience in a similar role within the professional services sector
  • Have the ability to convey our commercial expertise to contacts and potential clients
  • Are a self-motivated, individual who wants to progress their career
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent presentation skills and can confidently present to an audience
  • Have a strong knowledge of current trends and apps within the professional services sector
  • Have a proven ability to act as a technical resource with the ability to guide and advise
  • Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Are capable of managing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Have the ability to analyse market data and trends to inform business development strategies
