Our client is a rapidly expanding, highly prominent business in the insurance sector. They're currently seeking an experienced credit control professional to join them in a growth-driven role. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Credit Control, this individual will join a team of 7 spread across both the Brighton and London offices. Their preference is for candidates with financial services sector experience and business-to-business credit control.

This is a busy team so the role would suit a committed individual with skills in work prioritisation, time management, attention to detail, and solid technical skills including IT / systems.

Role Description:

  • Collect outstanding balances in accordance with company goals
  • Be the first point of contact for the credit control queries and resolve and disputes
  • Build a strong relationship with clients to get regular updates through in person and virtual meetings
  • Reconcile and validate debt ledger prior and post migration of new portfolios
  • Report regularly on collection progress
  • Timely reconciliation of payment schedules, client statements and company accounts to enable prompt payment of due balances
  • Regular and accurate reporting of all assumed payment backlogs
  • Complete and report on all projects as allocated
  • Complete the monthly drawn LOC reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly Claims Processing List for expected workflow and book in Currency totals to cover payments with Cashiers
  • Review assumed transactions for payment & collection
  • Handle claims recovery payments within the credit control system.
  • Assist with other Credit Control team projects as required
  • Assist with company & department goals, and any ad-hoc requests
