This provider support both primary and secondary care services, ensuring a seamless and delivery of Dermatology, ENT and Audiology provision to patients that have been referred from GP services and or NHS Trusts.
Role: ENT GPwSI/GPwER
Department: Community Ear Nose & Throat
Location: Swindon
Days available: Monday-Friday
Hours: 0900-1800 (or similar)
Rate: £100
Responsibilities:
You will be accountable for high quality clinical care to adult patients attending the community Ear Nose and Throat service (new patients and follow ups). This will include treatment of epistaxis, balance assessment, clearance of the external auditory canal, nasopharyngoscopy and laryngoscopy.
You will consult, diagnose and treat patients in a high-quality manner.
You will work as part of a cohesive team and support the administration team to deliver a safe and efficient clinical service.
You may be involved in audits.
You will regularly attend team and other meetings as appropriate, contributing positively to discussions and debates and participating in shared decision making.
Professional
The Candidate
You will need strong communication skills and the ability to empathise with patients and their families.
You will have substantial experience in diagnosing and treating ENT conditions, including surgical procedures, within a UK health-care community setting.
You will be a fully registered Doctor with the relevant qualifications and registrations.
You will be up to date with all mandatory training.
Requirements:
Medical Degree and Registration: Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) and be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
ENT Diploma
Up to date with all Mandatory Training
You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ENT conditions as well as current evidence-based practice guidelines in ENT.
