Join Our Team as an HR Adviser

Are you passionate about HR and eager to make a real impact? At CTD, we're looking for a proactive and business-focused HR Adviser to support management across all departments. Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our work culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving HR excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations (ER) Advice:

  • Provide expert advice on ER matters including disciplinary issues, grievances, performance management, and absence management
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and fair treatment of employees
  • Support and resolve employee complaints and grievances confidentially and fairly
  • Advise on ER issue resolutions to minimize risk and promote positive relations

HR Query Management:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers
  • Resolve routine HR queries and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of HR queries and resolutions

Recruitment Coordination:

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including CV sifting
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and external agencies for a smooth recruitment process
  • Maintain recruitment data and provide regular reports on metrics

Key HR Projects:

  • Assist in planning and executing HR projects like performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports to support HR deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Competencies and Personal Attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years of generalist HR experience, ideally in a multi-site distribution, retail, or merchant environment
  • Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Broad knowledge of HR activities and employment legislation
  • Proven ability to work with senior managers to achieve objectives
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload
  • Strong coaching skills and a proactive approach to change
