Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor / Project Cost Consultant to lead the commercial management function across various commissions.
You will have responsibility for delivering a scope of work in line with all pre & post contract stages of works, including use of cost models, investment appraisals, cost reporting and benchmarking data ??
The Key Responsibilities of a Project Cost Consultant:
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships to ensure their objectives are met and satisfaction is achieved. ??
- Aid in executing cost management activities throughout the project program.
- Ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
- Evaluate and interpret complex data from various sources to advise clients and internal stakeholders on potential impacts.
- Create and enhance cost management frameworks, processes, and policies, and spearhead system improvement implementations.
- Foster and strengthen relationships with client project sponsors and stakeholders ??
Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Project Cost Consultant role, however you will not be expected to have everything:
- Bachelor's degree ?? or equivalent.
- Relevant professional qualification or chartered status. ??
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Experience in the Local Government, Central Government or Defence sectors preferred.
- Experience using digital cost tools such as CostX, 5DBIMetc.
