The Candidate is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for a prominent healthcare brand. This role requires a strategic thinker who is adept at managing multiple brands and marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency, and driving business growth through innovative marketing strategies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of the Head of Marketing:

  • Will be responsible for developing and directing comprehensive marketing strategies across digital, advertising, and commun ications platforms to promote the company's values and achieve business objectives.
  • They will design and implement marketing plans with both long-term and short-term goals, ensuring these plans are aligned with the company's overall strategy and capable of delivering measurable results.
  • The role involves managing marketing budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, tracking spending, and optimising ROI through data-driven analysis and strategic adjustments.
  • The successful candidate will lead and mentor the marketing team, guiding team members from entry-level positions to more specialised roles, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Essential to the role is the management of websites and ensuring brand consistency across multiple brands. The candidate will need to juggle the demands of varied brands while maintaining a cohesive and effective digital presence.
  • They will oversee the creation of all marketing copy and content, ensuring it aligns with the brand's tone of voice. The candidate will be responsible for signing off on materials that reflect the company's values and resonate with the target audience.
  • The role includes managing relationships with external marketing agencies, ensuring that all campaigns are aligned with strategic goals and optimised for success.

Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and appreciation of the company's values, particularly in areas such as fertility, same-sex relationships, transgender and non-binary identities, and surrogacy. They will be committed to creating inclusive and empathetic marketing content that respects and acknowledges diverse experiences and backgrounds.
  • The candidate should thrive in high-pressure environments, successfully managing the complexities of multiple brands and delivering results in a fast-paced market.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Proven ability to manage marketing budgets effectively and optimise ROI.
  • Experience in leading and developing marketing teams, with a strong track record of mentoring and fostering talent.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and optimising websites across multiple brands.
  • Strong ability to oversee content creation and ensure alignment with the brand's tone of voice.
  • Commitment to creating marketing content that is inclusive and empathetic, particularly in sensitive areas.
  • Open-minded approach, with a genuine understanding of and respect for diverse experiences related to same-sex relationships, transgender and non-binary identities, and surrogacy.
  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Educated to degree level in marketing or a related field.
