We are seeking Music Teachers to join our vibrant schools located in the lively communities of Greenwich, Lambeth, and Southwark. Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver inspiring Music lessons to secondary or post-16 students, fostering a deep appreciation for music and developing their musical skills.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor teaching strategies to meet individual learning objectives.
- Create a classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and encourages student participation and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and contribute to the school's extracurricular programmes, including music clubs and performances.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain the highest educational standards and practices in music education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Experience in teaching Music is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students through effective teaching methods in music.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
- A profound passion for Music and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
