If so, we want you on our team! At PFM you will manage projects for CCTV and footfall installations at retailers, shopping centres and large scale areas such as train stations. Experience working in retail and/or construction projects will be a great start.

The role is based in Redditch, however flexible working and onsite working will be encouraged.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be the main contact liaising with clients and engineers, ensuring the seamless delivery of new implementation projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include managing resource planning, financial analysis, client reporting and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Set and manage client expectations from sales handover through to project completion.
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans to meet expected timescales.
  • Sales Order Management: Ensure projects are fully funded by authorized client funds.
  • Supplier Coordination: Work with third-party suppliers, including hire companies and additional vendors as needed.
  • Documentation: Produce comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with the operations team and schedule engineers and subcontractors to meet project needs.
  • Financial Management: Fully manage the project budget to ensure timely invoicing, comprehensive capture of project expenditure and remain within project margins.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with Helpdesk and Data Management teams for seamless project handovers.
  • On-Site Management: Regularly attend project sites to ensure adherence to project plans and to monitor any change requests.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • High organisation skills with a problem-solving approach.
  • Presentable and professional at all times.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to daily responsibilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
