About Us:
My client is looking for a Teaching Assistant with a focus on Humanities to join their school in West London.
Position Summary:
As a Teaching Assistant specialising in Humanities, you will support the teaching and learning of subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies. You will work closely with teachers to enhance the educational experience of our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging Humanities lessons.
- Support students in their learning, both individually and in small groups.
- Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide support during classroom activities and practical exercises.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Support teachers with administrative tasks and classroom management.
- Help with the assessment and tracking of student progress.
- Supervise students during break times, school trips, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A genuine passion for Humanities subjects.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or Humanities is a plus.
