Job Purpose

Recruitment and Compliance Lead (temp role)

The role of the Recruitment and Compliance Lead is to work in partnership with the Compliance Lead and Recruitment & Compliance Coordinators; and the wider People Team, as well as recruiting Managers, to provide an outstanding recruitment service. You will lead on implementing creative recruitment strategies, ensuring the delivery of proactive and unique recruitment methods that are tailored to a variety of industries. In addition you will lead on the management and assurance of compliance in all areas of recruitment and regulations.

This role will primarily recruit for the following teams, where you will act as their recruitment business partner; Therapies (allied health professionals), Finance, Fundraising & Communications (including Retail), Estates, People & IT, including their bank staff requirements, as well as lead on recruitment for our non-maintained school on-site.

As our Recruitment Lead, you will provide a high quality, responsive service to prospective candidates and recruiting managers, as well as subject matter guidance and support to members of the People Team and the wider organisation, with a key focus on our recruitment and compliance processes for all permanent and temporary staff to ensure we are safeguarding our vulnerable children and young people right from the start of an employee's recruitment and onboarding journey. You will also have key involvement in the ongoing development of the Access Recruit and On boarding System, proactively putting forward thought-provoking ideas for continuous improvement acting as a systems super-user.
