Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across different primary year groups.
- Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual classes.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Providing feedback on student performance to permanent staff.
- Working in partnership with teaching assistants and other staff members.
- Ensuring the continuity of education for pupils during the absence of their regular teacher.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching at primary level.
