Head of HR Operations and HRIS Implementation

Our client is a global growing Fintech business and are now looking at improving performance and efficiency and are looking to recruit of Head of Operations/Centre of Excellence and HRIS Manager.

This role will be responsible for setting up and running the HR Operations part of the business that will include HRIS Implementation and management, ER work, Payroll, and compliance.

A newly created role working with the CHRO and paying up to £130,000 your duties will include

  • Setting up and running of the HR Operations which will include early level HR staff queries, payroll, HRIS Implementation (Dayforce) and management, Compliance
  • Manage a team of HR administrators, ensuring that all HR functions (onboarding, record-keeping, benefits administration, etc.) are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and management of the HRIS systems (Dayforce) to ensure smooth functioning of HR operations.
  • Manage self-service portals for leave, attendance, benefits, and other HR services.
  • Maintain data integrity within the HR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and the external payroll company
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with regulations by overseeing the processing, coordination, and auditing of payroll
  • Address any payroll-related issues and work with the payroll bureau to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Review and improve all HR process workflows end to end, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company policies.
  • Continuously improve HR processes to enhance employee experience and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation.
  • Ensure HR operations are compliant with legal requirements and company policies
  • Ensure People Policies are updated liaising with relevant team members
  • Review all policies to ensure compliance with bank panel requirements

The ideal Candidate

  • A proven background in HR Operations and having set up a Centre of Excellence/Shared Service centre
  • HRIS System implantation (Dayforce) this is an absolute essential
  • Strong passionate and energetic HR Operations leader that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have worked within a scale up Tech business ideally one within the regulated industry
  • Dayforce systems experience is a must
