Description
UBT Recruitment are working with a leading provider of high-quality pump solutions based in Mildenhall, Suffolk. They are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Fitter, who will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of their extensive range of tank systems. As a Mechanical and Electrical Fitter you will play a key role in ensuring their products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Working Hours & Salary: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm. £40,000 per annum
Mechanical and Electrical Fitter Duties:
- Installation of pipework inside tank control cabinets
- Installation of valves, gaskets & flanges
- Installation of fuel transfer pumps inside tank control cabinets
- Pressure test the pipework
- Calibration and installation of mechanical and digital tank gauges
- Electrical fit out of tanks (if certified, carry out wiring and dead test of installation)

Requirements
- Confidently operate tools required
- Adequate physical fitness (working on your feet a lot)
- Follow H&S standards
- Confined spaces work qualification (training can be provided)
- Attention to detail
- Certified electrician (desirable)
