Job Description:
Talent Guardian is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager for our client based in Farnborough. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within a busy warehouse environment.
- Manage and lead a small team, ensuring productivity and high performance.
- Prepare and manage export paperwork, including Certificates of Origin, ensuring compliance with current UK and international customs legislation and contract requirements.
- Utilise ERP systems for efficient warehouse management and record-keeping.
- Ensure company compliance with UK export controls and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards, managing customer expectations effectively.
- Coordinate shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Requirements:
- Ideally, possess management or senior-level experience in a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Experience in preparing export paperwork and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) license.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
