KiddyKare is collaborating with a Nursery to recruit an experienced Nursery Manager for a setting in Henley. This position offers a generous salary of up to £40,000 per annum, accompanied by numerous benefits.

Requirements for the Nursery Manager:

  • Previous managerial experience
  • Full and relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 minimum)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  • Ability to lead and support a team in delivering outstanding childcare
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within nurseries

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, preventing accidents and promoting a sense of security and satisfaction among parents.
  • Directly manage the nursery and its staff, aiming for full enrollment and a planned waiting list.
  • Effectively contribute to the management team, promoting the setting and maintaining high communication levels across all personnel.
  • Recruit, manage, and train all nursery staff to foster good morale, maintain a high reputation, and ensure all regulatory standards are met.
  • Monitor nursery standards to ensure compliance and positive reports from regulatory inspections.
  • Closely monitor all personnel to ensure a high awareness of company policies and procedures.
  • Act as the primary contact for parents, ensuring their full satisfaction through appropriate information and feedback.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nurseries through participation in monthly management meetings and other forums.
  • Actively manage and report on current nursery occupancy and six-month future forecasting.
  • Hold regular room and staff meetings to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Maintain good communication with senior management regarding everyday occurrences within the establishment.
  • Ensure all staff follow company procedures for daily communications with parents.
  • Keep parents informed of events, changes, and programs through monthly or quarterly newsletters.
  • Report all maintenance requirements to the operations manager for immediate attention.
