An esteemed design and building practice, based in the heart of Essex, are now seeking a proactive Senior Building Surveyor to join their team of 25.
This is a position for a well-seasoned Senior Building Surveyor, who can hit the ground running and is keen to continue their career progression with a supportive and flexible business.
Benefits
- £45,000 - £65,000
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown of 7 days
- Annual leave increases by 1 day after 5 years

Role and responsibilities
The successful Senior Building Surveyor will work with a range of clients across the education, residential and commercial sectors, with a particular educational focus.
My client are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor who can help supervise a small team, supporting the junior members and overseeing their works, as well as delivering a professional bias workload, including the following services:
- Condition surveys
- Dilapidations
- Schedules of repair
- Homebuyers reports
Person specification
- BSc/ MSc in Building Surveying (Ideally or RICS accredited degree)
- MRICS would be beneficial, but not necessary
- Experience with education sector projects
- Strong knowledge of professional services
