Electrical Site Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Lead Engineer to join their team on a long standing site based in North London on a permanent basis. A competitive salary and benefits package is available.

Lead Engineer

Salary: £45,000 + overtime

Location: North London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out according to maintenance specification
  • Ensure all necessary documentation related to PPM, reactive, and breakdown tasks is completed and promptly submitted to the contract administrator.
  • Perform reactive tasks across the sites and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and document all plant failures using quotation forms, submitting them to the line manager.
  • Promptly address plant faults and defects to maintain the plant in a serviceable condition.
  • Conduct electrical testing and inspection of electrical systems.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns or failures outside normal working hours (call-outs) and participate in the on-call rotation.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Electrical City & Guilds or an equivalent qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • BS7671 18th Edition
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Customer-focused
  • Ability to manage the expectations of both customers and team members
  • Computer literate
