Description
As the Packaging Engineer you will:
- Assist in the planning and execution of packaging projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise
- Adhere to budget and time constraints
- Maintain and update project documentation
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Report to the Packaging Manager regularly about project status
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the packaging area
Profile
The successful Packaging Engineer should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector
- Previously worked with different packaging materials particularly paper and board, flexibles and aseptic packaging.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- A keen eye for detail and quality
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ideally a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
