We are proud to be partnering with a leading retailer in premium electric bikes, who are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to join their growing team. This dynamic business is transforming micro mobility by bringing the best eBike technology to the market. They have a fast-growing eCommerce store as well as 4 stores across the UK, with more to come!

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating and developing an engaging content and marketing strategy, across their digital platforms. Your expertise in crafting compelling content, driving online campaigns, and analysing market trends will be crucial in expanding their reach and increasing customer engagement. You will also have the opportunity to on-board and develop a junior Marketing Executive to support with day-to-day marketing activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Take charge of the content calendar.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across campaigns.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee and optimise digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with their agency across channels including YouTube, Hubspot, Instagram, and PPC.
  • Work with the Head of eCommerce to align marketing efforts with eCommerce goals, driving traffic, engagement, and conversions for a seamless customer experience.
  • Analyse digital performance metrics (Google Analytics, social media insights) to inform decisions and improve results.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and promotions.

Content Creation & Brand Building:

  • Lead the creation and development of engaging content to be distributed across website articles, newsletter, and social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute content marketing plans that captivate their audience and promote the life-changing benefits of electric bikes and the brand.
  • Source and collaborate with videographers to produce high-quality multimedia content.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels, maintaining the brand voice and visual identity as per their brand playbook.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and manage a social media calendar, driving consistent posting and engagement across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Create campaigns to build an active and engaged online community, fostering conversations about electric bikes and sustainable transportation.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions, ensuring excellent customer engagement and support.
  • On-board and develop a marketing executive to support on the above.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Manage the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use data to continuously optimise marketing efforts, ensuring high ROI and alignment with business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategy, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Proven track record of managing successful digital marketing campaigns and content strategies.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, social media advertising, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills with a passion for storytelling.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of or interest in the electric bike industry and sustainability is a plus.
  • Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., HubSpot, YouTube).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with or a good understanding of multi-store / franchise marketing.
