NOW HIRING: ASSISTANT BAR & EVENTS MANAGER (HYBRID ROLE)
Are you passionate about events, bar operations, and high-level event logistics and planning? This could be your perfect next step.
At The Engine Works, we believe exceptional experiences are built by individuals who are equally passionate about service and structure. That's why we're searching for someone who's as confident behind a bar as they are behind a desk. This is a true hybrid role, designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes pride in operational excellence, and brings creativity and precision to both event execution and administrative leadership.
As Assistant Bar & Events Manager, you'll play a key role in both the delivery of unforgettable events and the back-end systems that keep them running flawlessly. You'll work closely with our Senior Hospitality & Events Manager, helping to lead our bar team during events, manage drinks meetings and viewings, and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations through high-level admin and client management. This is a hands-on, varied role offering exposure to all areas of the business - ideal for someone looking to grow in events while maintaining a strong footing in bar and hospitality management.
We're looking for someone who is personable, dynamic, and self-driven - someone who thrives in a high-performing environment and wants to grow with a company that shares the same ambition. This role is for a standout team member: someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and brings energy, focus, and professionalism to everything they do.
