Based: Hybrid/East Croydon (2 days a week in office)

What you need to know about the role...
The Data Protection Administrator will be supporting the development and enforcement of data protection policies, providing assistance with compliance efforts, handling data subject requests, and contributing to incident response and risk mitigation activities. The Data Protection Executive plays a vital role in helping the organization maintain trust with stakeholders and protect the privacy rights of individuals.
What You'll Do:
- Managing information rights requests from members.
- Handling CCTV requests, including those from law enforcement.
- Gathering information and ensuring timely responses per data protection regulations.
- Assisting in developing and implementing data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintaining records of data processing activities and compliance efforts.
- Responding to data breaches or incidents, assisting in investigations and documentation.
About You:
- Proven experience in data protection, with a focus on GDPR compliance.
- Understanding of data protection principles and legislation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Some knowledge or experience with data protection tools and technologies (e.g., data masking, encryption, tokenization).
