Our client, a leading business in their field is seeking a Financial Controller to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth our client is looking for a Financial Controller with a background in Manufacturing to join them on a permanent basis, working closely and reporting to the CFO, where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations and accounting activities within the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a similar role at Financial Controller level, will have experience with Power BI and will also have a background in Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Cash Flow reporting and forecasting
- Liaise with Bankers and external credit providers when required
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
- Monitor and control overhead expenditure
- Assist in annual audits
- Collate annual statutory accounts, partnering with senior management when required
- Monitor all tax and regulatory compliance issues
- Assist in the preparation of monthly group management reporting packs
- Management of Finance Assistants (3)
Key Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role at Financial Controller level
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Power BI experience
- Strong Excel ability
- Previous experience in Manufacturing industry
- Experience with SAP
- Previous experience leading and managing a small team
