The company's ideas and creativity, together with their digital capabilities, have enabled them to utilise web technologies for many different sectors. They offer a variety of services including web design, CRM systems, ECommere, sharepoint development and other digital solutions.

They are looking for an experienced mid weight front end web developer to join their friendly and supportive team to boost their development capacity and help them deliver industry-leading projects.

You will be a strong team player that thrives in a multi-disciplinary environment, who is enthusiastic and passionate about a role as a front-end developer who collaborates with designers and back-end developers to implement responsive and engaging user interfaces.

Experience & Abilities

They are looking for a developer with minimum of 2 years' experience who:

Collaborate with Designers and Back-End Developers: Work closely with design teams and back-end developers to create responsive and engaging user interfaces.

Translate Designs and Wireframes: Convert design mock-ups and wireframes into high-quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.

Optimise Front-End Performance: Enhance the performance of web applications to ensure they load quickly and respond smoothly.

Ensure Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Compatibility: Guarantee that web applications work seamlessly across various browsers and devices, optimising for both performance and responsiveness.

You will be familiar with the following technologies:

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Strong proficiency in these core web technologies

Responsive Design Frameworks: Experience with frameworks like Bootstrap

Version Control Systems: Proficiency with Git and GitHub for code versioning and collaboration

Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing: Skills in ensuring compatibility and performance across various browsers and devices

Web Performance Optimisation: Techniques and tools for improving front-end performance

Development Tools: Proficiency with modern development tools and environments such as Visual Studio, Chrome Developer Tools, etc.

Design Tools: Familiarity with Figma and/or Adobe XD for translating design mockups into functional user interfaces

C and .NET Core: Knowledge of C and .NET Core is an advantage

Content Management Systems (CMS): Understanding the principles of CMS platforms for managing and deploying digital content

Oualifications

No formal qualifications are required for this position

Details of position

  • Styling websites using HTML and CSS
  • Liaison with UX/UI designers and backend developers
  • Communicate and knowledge share with other members of the team
  • Provide support and advice to various teams within the company
