Service Coordinator

Our client is a leading provider of bespoke engineering technology nationwide. They are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join their team based at their site in Crimble, Lancashire. The successful Service Coordinator will provide support to the engineering team and will plan, and schedule engineer works as well as supporting the Operations Manager in day to day operational duties.

Service Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Customers and Engineering teams to plan and schedule work.
  • Use of CRM system.
  • Liaise with other departments to accurately process jobs in a timely manner.
  • Take customer phone calls and prioritise them to achieve a high standard of customer service.
  • Complete basic remedial quotations and seek approval.
  • Complete non contract breakdown quotations.
  • Validate weekly timesheets.
  • Book fleet services & maintenance, when required.
  • Book hotels for engineering teams, when required.

Service Coordinator Requirements:

  • You will have ideally worked in a similar role in an engineering environment.
  • Proficient in the use of IT programmes including MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability work well under pressure.
  • Highly organised and self motivated.
  • Must be able to work as a team to meet team targets.
  • Good knowledge of UK geography would be advantageous.

Service Coordinator Benefits:

  • Salary is £26,000 - £27,000.
  • Monday to Friday.
