This is a 12-month contract position to cover maternity leave with a chance of developing into a permanent role. The role combines sales with customer, partner, and corporate sales responsibilities.The primary function is to maintain the current customers on patch and expand the company's presence and market share within the assigned territory.

Your new role

  • Implement a consultative sales approach to engage decision-makers at all customer levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive decision-makers in key accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Provide accurate and competitive pricing while maximising profit margins.
  • Maintain detailed records of pricing, sales, and activity.
  • Adhere to budget guidelines.
  • Coordinate sales and business initiatives across the company within the assigned territory.
  • Provide valuable feedback on client needs, operational requirements, business opportunities, and marketing/sales programs.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and business goals for the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company at high-level meetings with prospects, clients, and partners.
  • Collaborate with product and services marketing to gather channel feedback, identify trends, and support customer outreach programs.
  • Contribute to building the company's brand identity within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure sales transactions comply with ethical standards and pricing guidelines.
  • Work with customers to facilitate timely payments.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical codes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Medical sales experience in the assigned territory preferred, ideally within radiology/capital equipment sales.
  • Junior applicants with no prior medical sales experience may be considered
  • Clean driving licence and willingness to travel across patch 3/4 days a week
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Sales or marketing expertise.
  • Strategic thinking and results orientation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills.
