A Civil Engineering Contractor and Groundworks company is looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to help the team.
The ideal candidate MUST have experience with purchase ledging.
- **Offering a permanent position.
- **Pay: £24,000
- **5 days a week in the office
- **Location: Enfield, London
- **Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm
- **25 days holiday per year + Pension + Bank Holidays + Birthday Off + Life Assurance + Private Medical Insurance after probation + Employee Assistance Programme + Canteen (reduce cost on some foods) + On-site free parking.
Responsibilities:
- Processing large volume of invoices
- Communicating internally and externally
- Daily input of suppliers invoice, analysing and delivery notes
- Monthly payment reconciliations
- preparing payment runs
- Deal with Queries from Suppliers
- To Balance all supplier statements on a monthly basis and look into any differences, and to contact suppliers for invoices and credit notes
- To amend and Maintain existing accounts
- General admin duties
- To work closely with other members of their finance team
- Looking after the main purchase ledger inbox
- Answer incoming calls and emails
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working as a purchase ledger
- Experience in the Construction Industry / working on-site would be a bonus!
