Environmental Sustainability Assistant
Location: Hatfield
Employment Type: Full-time, Office-based
Contract: Temporary position (ASAP start until at least mid-December 2024)
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
I am currently recruiting for a well-established organisation based in Hatfield, that requires a motivated Environmental Sustainability Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. If you have a passion for sustainability and are ready to contribute towards promoting sustainability , this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Environmental Sustainability manager with the implementation of sustainability initiatives across the organisation
- Assist in organising and managing sustainability events and campaigns
- Collaborate with different teams to promote environmental best practices
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation using Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Monitor and track sustainability-related project progress
- Liaise both internally and externally to promote environmental awareness
- Collecting and analysing data.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of sustainability issues and trends
- Experience in a similar role, particularly in sustainability, project management, event management, or marketing
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work full-time and commit to the position until mid-December 2024
- Must be immediately available and comfortable working in an office environment
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about sustainability
- Strong administrative skills and excellent communication skills
