Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to work on a temporary contract basis for a great business based in the Fleet area. The Project Accountant temp job will be working on a hybrid basis supporting the FD with financial analysis, checking of transactional data and assisting with an ongoing project.
Day rate: £200-250 per day
Location: Hybrid - Office based - Fleet, 2 days a week
Hours: 9-5.30 Mon-Fri
Project Accountant duties:
- US sales tax - nexus review
- Assisting with the accounting project of getting the new system Avalara up and running
- Support with Bank Mandate tidy up
- Assist with the processing of any US taxes / US trade accounts - documentation required
- Analysis of US transactions, cross referencing the financial data, researching any coding required or state / trade tax set up
- Statutory account preparation
- Any other accounting support requested by the FD
Skills and experience required:
- Experience of working in a similar Accountant, Project Accountant, Systems Accountant type role
- Knowledge and experience of US taxes
- Systems experience; Quickbooks
- Ideally be a full qualified accountant
