Job Title: Head of Conveyancing 5+PQE (Commercial Property)
Salary: Up to £80,000
Location: Bristol, hybrid but fully office based is preferred.
Hours: Full Time.
Legal 500 firm.
The firm offers and element of hybrid working but they much prefer a head of department to be present in the office, This is so you are there to monitor performance, drive the team and assist where needed and to lead by example. You will ideally be based full time in the office to create a working environment people want to be a part of.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Manage your own Complex commercial property caseload while overseeing and supervising the wider team. Monitor and manage performance and provide assistance to Fee Earners when required.
- Have an input in the firms business plans to grow the department and team further. Setting targets and direction to colleagues.
- Conduct regular 121 with staff members and team meetings.
- Always thinking of ways to improve and drive the business.
- Train new staff.
Experience Required:
- Qualified Solicitor minimum 5PQE within Commercial Property
- Able to manage a team and monitor performance to help drive the team success
- Wide range f knowledge in Commercial Property as well as Complex high value Residential Property and other areas of law to assist the wider team .
- IT literate.
- Experience managing and supervising a team.
