Your new company
Hays are delighted to be supporting a niche manufacturing company who are a household name. The company are a privately owned SME and are based in a superb setting just outside Redditch. The company have experienced strong market growth and as such are looking to recruit their next Financial Controller.
Your new role
As Financial Controller, you will report into the Group Finance Director and lead a team of 3. This is an all round hands-on role and will oversee the day to day management of the finance team. Key duties will include month end preparation, monthly management accounts, budget and variance analysis. You will also be the main point of contact with the auditors and be involved in preparation of financial accounts and VAT. You will also be involved in costing analysis, review of WIP and BOM. The role will also require someone who can take control of stock and movement of goods.
What you'll need to succeed
The role will suit a hands-on Qualified Finance Manager or Controller, ideally from a manufacturing background with a good understanding of costings and WIP analysis. Knowledge of stock would also be highly beneficial. You will also be happy to work in the office predominantly and be comfortable undertaking a hands-on all round role.
