Tate are delighted to be supporting a local client in Ipswich to recruit numerous Customer Service Advisor to join their highly successful and business critical team.

If you are looking for a new role that supports members of the public in emergency situations, operating emergency systems, and coordinating with external agencies and internal departments, then this is the role for you!

Shift Patterns

  • Early shift: 06:30-14:45
  • Late shift: 14:30-22:45
  • Night shift: 22:30-06:45
  • 34 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
  • Rotating shifts: 2 early, 2 late, 2 night, followed by 4 days off.
  • Flexible "on-call" shifts during a float fortnight every 10 weeks.

Main Duties

  • Monitor CCTV systems.
  • Coordinate responses to emergency alarms with external agencies and assess the best course of action.
  • Handle calls from the public and external bodies.
  • Keep systems up to date with real time information.
  • Operate various computer systems, radios, and alarm equipment.

Work Environment:

  • Based in a Control Room for all shifts (no home working).
  • Work a set shift pattern: early, late, and night shifts.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and educated with 5 GCSEs or NVQ Level 3.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience in dealing with the public and operating Windows-based software.
  • High level of concentration to handle emergency situations.
  • Willingness to study for a Public Space CCTV Surveillance SIA licence.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Police Vetting Clearance required.
