- Use standardised and non-standardised assessments to assess the impact of the referred person's learning disability on their occupational participation and performance. This includes identifying their strengths and support needs in volition, habituation, performance skills, and their environment.
- Provide individual and group therapy to develop occupational participation and performance in the areas of productivity, self-care, and leisure.
- Work with carers and support staff to facilitate, develop, and maintain occupational performance, improving quality of life based on the individual's needs and goals.
- Use accepted tools to assess and support individuals with a learning disability to achieve Occupational Outcomes related to functional ability and occupational performance improvement.

Skills:
- Current/previous experience working with adults/children with LD/ASD (including student placement)
- Passion/special interest in working within this population
- Previous community MDT experience
- Evidence of value of OT-based intervention within any population
- Evidence of promoting the profession in the current role (including students)
