We are delighted to be partnering with our client, based in Bath, who have an opportunity for a Pre-School Room Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.
What will you be doing?
- Delivering a play-based curriculum.
- Acting as a key person for a group of children, aged between 3 and 4 years.
- Taking responsibility for children's safety and wellbeing, and their learning and development.
- Supporting children to develop a positive attitude to food and healthy lifestyles.
- Building strong, professional relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Working with the senior team to continuously improve the quality of childcare and education.
- Adhering to policies and procedures for child protection and safeguarding.

You will also be timetabled with a long weekend (Monday or Friday off) approximately every 4 to 5 weeks.
What do you need to have?
You will hold a Level 3 qualification and previous experience in a similar role, ideally with experience of leading a small team and of developing a play-based curriculum.
You will have a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and will be able to blend passion and professionalism, in order to support children's learning and development. You will be able to work to a high standard of compliance and integrity, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
Salary:
£24,130 to £27,144 per annum (dependant on experience).
Hours:
36 hours per week, worked across 5 days. You will have one rolling day off per week, and so a long weekend (Monday or Friday off) every 4 to 5 weeks. This role is year-round.
