Sales Administrator

  • Location: RM, Essex.
  • Job Type: Full-time. Permanent.
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

We are looking for a proactive and professional Sales Administrator for an established engineering company. The ideal candidate will handle telephone calls, manage visitor reception, and ensure a professional environment at all times. This role involves using SAP to raise sales orders, managing despatches, and providing comprehensive support to the sales team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email
  • Raise sales orders and follow through to despatch.
  • Checking stock availability and raising quotations as requested by sales engineers.
  • Raise purchase orders and resolving invoicing queries both external and internal.
  • Liaise with production department re customer orders
  • Ad hoc administration duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a sales or administration role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational
  • A background in engineering or plumbing beneficial
  • A team player who can also work independently when required.
