Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with SEND, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the early years team, parents, and the SENCO to create and implement personalised learning plans.
- Inclusive Practices: Foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, promoting diversity, and celebrating each child's unique abilities.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience working with early years children, particularly those with SEND, is desirable.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or special education are advantageous.
- Empathy: A caring and empathetic approach to supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals.
