Job Title: Accounts Clerk
Location: East of England, Essex, Basildon
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time | 5 days in office per week
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Management of GBP supplier ledgers, statements, account queries, rocessing and recording financial transactions
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Supplier payment processing
- Processing of receipts into bank
- Chasing for settlement of overdue debts
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Reconciling bank statements and accounts
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with external suppliers/customers and staff at all levels of the
organisation (essential)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Education:
- AAT qualification or equivalent in Accounting (ideal)
- GCSEs in Maths and English
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
