I am searching for a talented Interior Designer with creative design flare to join a well-established practice in Chelmsford. The team has a vibrant portfolio full of hospitality, residential and commercial projects and always build lasting relationships with clients. The practice has a range of exciting hospitality projects on the horizon and are excited to welcome an Interior Designer to the team.
The successful Interior Designer will have sufficient experience post qualification in a UK-based practice and should be confident in their knowledge of building regulations. You will have a proven track record of hospitality projects and should have a vibrant portfolio that presents your work. AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketchup experience is essential.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Interior Designer:
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Sufficient post qualification experience in a UK-based practice
- Previous experience working on FF&E designs
- Confident sourcing samples and producing presentations and mood boards for clients
- Drawing furniture layouts and elevations
- Prepare specifications of ironmongery, electrics, finishes and joinery
- Proven experience working on hospitality projects
- Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Conducting site visits
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Proficient using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketchup
- Must live locally to Chelmsford
