Logistics Customer Service advisor

Do you have a passion for logistics and customer service? Our client is seeking an energetic Logistics Customer Service Advisor to become an integral part of the team.

This is a 6-9 month contract

Fully office based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on orders and client queries unsupervised
  • Processing orders
  • Liaising with all relevant parties to ensure that customer expectations are met during the movement of cargo.
  • Dealing with queries
  • Updating CRM systems

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a logistics customer service role.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Technical Know-How: Experience with Zedonk and Shopify software systems is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to constantly changing conditions and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security Clearance: Level D security clearance preferred.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Excellent levels of both, ensuring precise and effective communication and record-keeping.
  • Teamwork: Excellent organizational skills with a collaborative spirit, and the ability to use your initiative.
  • Network: Good connections within ocean carrier and transportation organizations.
