HRGO Recruitment are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to join our clients Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and credit control, with a understanding of financial processes and principles. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and contribute to the overall success of the finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with credit control activities, including monitoring customer accounts and following up on overdue payments.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide support to the Finance Manager as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable and credit control
- Strong understanding of financial processes and principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certification or degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
