Acorn by Synergie is looking for Production Operatives on permanent basis on behalf of their client, a major manufacturing company located in Wigan, WN3

Hours of work are 4 on 4 off comprising of 2 x 12 hour days followed by 2 x 12 hour nights 7-7
The hourly rate starts at £11.50 and increases to £11.85 per hour after 3 months service on site
Duties will include:
- Conduct and improve line setup and changeovers
- Consistently ensure optimum food safety, including correct segregation of allergens
- Ensure safe working practice whilst maintaining CCP and PPE compliance
- Assist with shift handovers and team briefs ensuring maximum efficiency and communication
- Monitor business waste, and compile and implement solutions to reduce waste
- General housekeeping
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous manufacturing / machine operation experience
- Understand food hygiene and HACCP standards
- Have strong problem-solving skills
- Be comfortable working within time constraints and able to meet deadlines
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work within different areas (as per business needs)
- Have a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Have worked a 4 on 4 off shift pattern previously
