Location: UK Wide - Remote based

Salary: competitive basic + OTE

Business Development Manager - The Role:

Day to day, this role will involve both relationship management and new business but ultimately your role will be to drive the growth and profitability of the business in UK.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the full sales cycle from lead development through to close, developing your relationship with the key decision makers
  • Understanding your clients business and overall business goals to ensure you are able to communicate effectively how they can benefit from the solutions you can offer
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of sales opportunities as well as maintain an exceptional level of client relationship management
  • To represent the company to the highest standard

Business Development Manager - The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling related smart building solutions (ie. Electrical, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), mechanical, energy, and information systems)
  • Consulting with clients, collaborators and stakeholders to capture requirements and probe into the desired outcomes.
  • Develop and drive the stales strategy to build strong market channels and build sales pipeline through to conversion.
  • Develop briefs and strategies, market capability, roadmaps and budgets taking into account a variety of factors.
  • Input into consultative work - will require a good understanding of key business drivers for digital technology and its implementation, and the ability to support clients in developing briefs for later design work.
  • Communicating with clients to support them in developing their aspirations and ideas to help tailor solutions bespoke to each project, that consider up-to-date technology and harness the benefits of integration with other services and disciplines.
  • Understanding and promoting technology; developing smart building that support the business aspirations of the client's development.
  • Take an active role in helping to promote the department and engage with senior management in supporting the development of group strategy.
