The Hours You'll Work;

  • 08.00am till 16.30pm Monday to Friday.

The Pay You'll Receive;

  • £11.44 - £12.00 Depending on experience.

MTrec's New Opportunity;

  • MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area.

**The Job You'll Do;

  • Working in a fast paced commercial printing setting.
  • Working as a print finisher, finishing all prints to a high quality.
  • Using a guillotine to finish prints.
  • Setting the guillotine to cut and finish prints to the correct specifications.
  • Using machines to fold prints and some elements of folding by hand.
  • Using stitching and binding machinery.
  • Making up and prepping boxes for delivery.
  • Dealing with bespoke customer orders and following tight deadlines.
  • Completing paper work, making sure each stage of production has been met.
  • General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
  • Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.

**About You;

  • Candidate should have experience of working in a fast-paced printing environment.
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
  • Focused on quality and excellence of end product.
  • Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Working either independently or within a team.
  • Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
  • Achieve team objectives.
  • Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
