Job Title: Export Customer Service Coordinator

Department/Location: Preston

The Role:

As an Export Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer experience for our national and international customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and support the customer order process from placement to delivery, providing professional support, and resolving any queries or complaints. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external freight providers, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing export documentation and maintaining effective communication with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Management Processes: Accurately process and manage customer orders within SAP, ensuring on-time and complete dispatch. Create export documentation and produce regular reports on outstanding customer orders.

2. Freight Forwarder Management: Effectively manage a complex dispatch schedule across multiple locations, combining shipments where possible and minimising logistics costs.

3. Customer Communication: Proactively communicate with customers, ensuring communication targets are met. Build strong relationships with accounts to exceed customer expectations.

4. Manage Complaints: Log and address customer queries, concerns, and complaints. Follow correct procedures and approvals for all transactions and maintain excellent communication throughout the resolution process.

5. Manage & Support Stakeholders: Communicate with key stakeholders across different sites, ensuring timely shipments and reviewing freight invoices.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of export customer service experience
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers to meet customer requirements
Proficiency in SAP order processes and export documentation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent team working and interpersonal skills
