A successful wealth management firm currently undergoing some rapid growth, has created an opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team.
Description
As a Paraplanner, you will be supporting the Financial Planners with administration support to service clients needs around financial advice, and ensuring that this service is a top class standard. The main duties will be:
- Processing and preparing new business and client review packs
- Preparing client portfolio valuations and reports
- Working closely with Wealth Advisers to interpret and communicate advice based on client's circumstances, risk appetite and objectives
- Making recommendations and producing suitability reports
- Obtaining information from providers
- Conducting money laundering checks
- Contacting clients and arranging appointments with advisers
- Keeping up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes
Profile
For this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working as a Paraplanner and ideally be diploma qualified
- Experience working in an IFA/wealth environment and knows how to support advisers in a technical administration setting
- Knowledge of investments, pensions and financial products
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivated with the ability to work well as part of a team
